Hi, my official name is Nutter Butter, but my foster parents call me Annie. I like Annie because it reminds me of orphan Annie. My story is like hers. Just a few weeks ago I was living on the streets with another dog friend. It was scary and getting colder and colder at night. Thankfully, someone stopped to help. Now, just like the other Annie, I am ready to find my forever home.
Here is some information to let you know more about me. I am an 8-month-old, 10-pound chihuahua mix. All the vet care I needed is complete. I am already spayed and current with all my vaccinations. I am bouncy, bubbly, happy and healthy.
My favorite pastimes are playing and snuggling. I have a lot of energy and I get super excited when I can zoom through the yard playing chase with my foster family’s two big labs. It will be important for my forever home to have a dog brother or sister so we can run and play. Oh, and it’s okay if they have cats, I like them too. Because of my energy level and desire to run, I will not do well living in an apartment.
My other favorite thing to do is snuggle. It doesn’t matter if you’re holding me or I’m curled up on your lap. I love it all and I’m known to give lots of kisses in return. My foster mom calls me a snuggle bunny and says I prance like a princess. Because I don’t shed, they let me sleep in their bed.
I do have a crate, but I really haven’t used it. I prefer to be with the family. I am great with my potty manners but because I am still young it helps when I can go outside often. I’m learning to walk on a leash, and I love riding in the car. I like learning new things, especially when there is a treat involved.
My foster family loves me, and I know they would keep me if they could. Instead, they are helping me prepare to find my forever family. If you believe this could be you, please fill out an application. I’m excited to meet you!
